Baramulla :Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, Thursday advocated the significance of inculcating high moral values and nurturing holistic growth among the students in shaping a brighter future for the nation.

The Minister, while participating in the annual day celebrations at IDPS Mendhar, underscored the vital role of education in developing not just the intellect but also the character of the young learners.

Addressing an enthusiastic gathering of students, teachers and parents, the Minister spoke about the evolving landscape of education in an era defined by rapid technological advancement. He said that while digital progress has opened new avenues of learning, it has also underscored the need to instil strong moral values, discipline and a deep sense of responsibility in students.

Emphasizing the shared responsibility of educators and families, Rana called for a collaborative approach to nurturing well-rounded individuals. He urged stakeholders to focus on building resilience, integrity and compassion among the young minds so they are better equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.

The Minister remarked that instilling respect for diversity and encouraging inclusivity from an early age are crucial steps towards building a progressive and unified society.

Commending the efforts of the school administration and staff, he appreciated their commitment towards providing quality education and creating opportunities for students to showcase their talents.

The event also displayed cultural performances by the students reflecting creativity, confidence and a spirit of celebration.
