Approximately 12 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession. A case under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Anantnag.

In a separate action, a police party from Police Post Sangam apprehended one individual identified as Sabzar Ahmad Rather, son of Habibullah Rather, resident of Waghama Rather Mohalla, at K.V Pora Marhama while he was moving towards NH-44. During checking, approximately 7.854 kilograms of Charas-like substance was recovered from the bag in his possession. Accordingly, a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
