The Directorate of Floriculture, Gardens and Parks Kashmir on Monday announced that the Tulip Garden Srinagar will be closed for the general public from the evening of April 16.
According to an official notice issued by the department, the decision has been taken on the recommendation of the Tulip Committee following its communication dated April 13, 2025. The garden, which was opened to visitors on March 16 this year as part of the Tulip Show-2026, will cease public entry from the specified date.
The notice, issued by Director Floriculture Kashmir, states that necessary intimation has been conveyed to concerned departments and media agencies to ensure wide publicity of the closure for the information of the general public.
