Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday said he spoke with US President Donald Trump and congratulated him on what he termed a “bold decision” and a “perfectly executed” American mission to rescue a downed pilot from enemy territory.
In a post on X, Netanyahu said that Trump appreciated Israel’s assistance in the operation, highlighting growing coordination between the two countries.
“I am deeply proud that our cooperation off the battlefield is unprecedented, and that Israel could contribute to saving a brave American warrior,” he said.
