Bandipora : In a significant move toward urban beautification and environmental stewardship, the Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora announced the successful development of a unique “Waste to Wonder” installation at the iconic Nishat Park executed under the Swachhata Excellence Campaign 2026.
The park has been thoughtfully curated using a variety of recycled and repurposed materials, effectively turning “trash into treasure.” From intricate sculptures to functional installations, the initiative demonstrates the immense potential of the Circular Economy and serves as a visual testament to how scientific waste management can enhance the aesthetic appeal of a town.
On the occasion, the concerned officials encouraged every resident to adopt responsible waste segregation and recognize that recycling is a powerful tool for building a cleaner and greener Bandipora.
