Rajouri : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, on Friday assured that adequate stocks of LPG, petrol, diesel and other essential commodities are available across the district.
Addressing a press conference, he said supply is being maintained as per Government of India norms and there is no shortage. The administration has intensified enforcement, conducting around 80 drives and seizing over 130 domestic LPG cylinders being misused for commercial purposes.
The DC warned against hoarding and black marketing, stating strict action will be taken. A control room has been set up for grievance redressal, and monitoring of stock positions is being carried out regularly.
He urged the public not to panic, follow OTP-based sale systems and complete e-KYC to ensure transparency.
