Pulwama : Police on Thursday said that it has attached a double-storied residential property worth over ₹30 lakh as part of its intensified crackdown on narcotics trafficking.
In a statement issued here on Thursday Police said that the property, valued at approximately ₹30.16 lakh, is located in WaghamaBijbehara and belongs to Athar Maqbool, son of Mohd Maqbool Ganie. Police said the asset was illegally acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking.
The property has been attached under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in connection with FIR No. 03/2026 registered at Police Station Litter under Sections 8/21 of the Act. In its statement Police also reiterated its resolve to dismantle drug networks and take strict action against those involved in narcotics trade.
