Kulgam :District Industries Centre (DIC) Kulgam today organized an awareness-cum-outreach programme under RAMP (Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance) at Government Degree College, DH Pora.
Officers from various line departments including BDO, KVIB, Handicrafts & Handloom, NRLM, CSCs, Cooperatives Department and Industrial Promotion Officers participated in the programme. More than 100 beneficiaries and outgoing students of the GDC attended the event.
During the programme, participants were sensitized about the importance of Udyam Registration and various government flagship schemes aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and industrial growth. A detailed presentation on the process flow and benefits of Udyam Registration was delivered by IPOs of DIC Kulgam.
The Principal, GDC DH Pora encouraged students to adopt entrepreneurship and explore opportunities for self-employment.
