Budgam : Police on Tuesday said that it has arrested a drug peddler in Budgam and also recovered a heroin like substance from his possession.
In a statement issued here on Tuesday Police said that during naka checking at Harran village law enforcers arrested a drug peddler in Budgam and also recovered a heroin-like substance from his possession. Police said that the accused attempted to flee but was apprehended. A case has been registered and further investigation is in progress. In its statement Police reiterated its commitment to curb drug trafficking and urged the public to share information about narcotics-related activities.
