New Delhi: The Centre on Tuesday said that 29 pharmaceutical units have been registered in Jammu and Kashmir under the New Central Sector Scheme (NCSS) 2021, with 24 units already operational.
In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State Anupriya Patel said ₹31.76 crore in incentives has been disbursed so far.
She informed that one bulk drug project has been approved in the UT with an investment of over ₹162 crore, while another unit under the PLI scheme has commenced production.
However, no medical devices park or bulk drug park has been set up in Jammu and Kashmir so far, the government said. PIB
