3 militants killed in Budgam’s Chadoora area

Chadoora: Three militants were killed in a gunfight with government forces in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday, police said.
An official said that forces launched a cordon and search operation in Bachinaad area of Patrigam village after inputs about the presence of militants.
As the searches were being conducted, the militants hiding in the village opened fire on the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
He said that three militants were killed in the gunfight that lasted for few hours.
Earlier, he said that two militants were killed at one spot while the third militant was trapped in a house few hundred yards away. “He was also killed in the gunfight,” he said.
The identity of the slain militants was not immediately known
