Shopian :One Stop Centre (OSC) Shopian, Department of Social Welfare, Thursday organized an awareness programme for community-based organizations and senior citizens under Atal VayoAbhyuday Yojana (AVYAY) at One Stop Centre Shopian.
During the programme, awareness was imparted regarding various Social Welfare schemes, services provided by the One Stop Centre and the Women Helpline 181.
A large gathering of senior citizens and participants attended the programme and actively participated in the session.
On the occasion, the Administrator, One Stop Centre Shopian, delivered a brief address highlighting the importance of awareness about welfare schemes and urged the participants to take advantage of various government initiatives meant for senior citizens, women and other vulnerable sections of society.
The programme concluded with an interactive session and grievance redressal, making the event informative and beneficial for the participants.
