ADDC reviews progress of ongoing works under RDD Sector in Udhampur

Udhampur : Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Jugal Kishore Saturday chaired a review meeting to assess the Panchayat-wise progress of PMAY, KYC verification and other ongoing developmental works being executed under the Rural Development Department in the district.
At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Development, Om Parkash, presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation highlighting the physical and financial progress achieved under PMAY, KYC and other flagship schemes and developmental projects being implemented across the district under the RDD sector.
During the meeting, the BDOs were directed to ensure timely completion of all ongoing works within the stipulated deadlines. He instructed them to expedite the pace of execution and strictly adhere to the timelines fixed by the government for achieving the set targets.
ADDC further instructed field functionaries to remain present in their respective areas of posting, maintain close coordination with the public and ensure regular updating of tour diaries for effective supervision and accountability.
Reiterating the importance of transparency and responsibility, the ADDC exhorted officers and field functionaries to maintain the highest standards of accountability in the execution of works under the RDD sector. He impressed upon them to work with renewed zeal and dedication to accomplish the targets set for the current financial year.
Emphasising the need for strict monitoring, the ADDC called for close supervision of all ongoing works to ensure quality standards and adherence to prescribed timelines.
