Jammu : Chairman District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) and Principal District & Sessions Judge Jammu R.N. Watal Saturday presided over a meeting with mediators of District Jammu at his Office Chambers.
Discussions centred on the campaign’s core objectives including promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms, alleviating court pendency and equipping citizens with swift, cost-effective tools for amicable conflict resolution. Mediators contributed insights on outreach initiatives, virtual mediation platforms and seamless integration with local legal aid programmes.
The Chairman underscored the campaign’s pivotal role in cultivating a mediation-friendly culture. He remarked, “Mediation for the Nation Campaign 2.0 represents a transformative advancement in justice delivery which is swift, voluntary and amicable. DLSA Jammu remains steadfast in empowering our mediators and extending these services to every corner of the district.”
The meeting concluded with a commitment to collaborative efforts involving mediators, bar associations and community stakeholders to amplify the campaign’s reach and efficacy.
