Joint Director YSS Jammu visits DYSSO Kishtwar, reviews progress & inspires team towards excellence

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 20: In a significant development for the sports fraternity of District Kishtwar, Joint Director Jammu, Vinakshi Koul paid an official visit to the office of District of Youth Services & Sports Kishtwar, where she conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing office and field activities.

During her visit, the Joint Director held a detailed interaction with the District Youth Services & Sports Officer, Jaffer Haider Sheikh and other officials of YSS Kishtwar.

She thoroughly reviewed administrative functioning, implementation of sports programmes, maintenance of records and the execution of grassroots-level sports initiatives across the district.

Emphasizing the importance of digital participation and youth engagement, the Joint Director directed the officials to ensure maximum registration of youth on the My Bharat Portal and the Youth Engagement Portal.

She highlighted that proper registration and data management would strengthen youth outreach, enable better planning of activities and ensure transparency in programme implementation.

The Joint Director also stressed the need for the development and upgradation of playfields and sports infrastructure across the district.

She instructed the concerned officials to identify potential areas for infrastructure enhancement and ensure that playgrounds are properly maintained to provide quality facilities to budding sportspersons.

While appreciating the efforts of the district team, she encouraged all officials to work with renewed dedication and commitment to promote sports culture at the grassroots level.

She lauded the initiatives taken by YSS Kishtwar in engaging youth through structured sports and community-based programmes.
