Reasi : Under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) Programme 2025–26, the District Industries Centre (DIC) Reasiorganised an awareness sand outreach programmeWednesday at the BDO Office, Reasi. The event was held under the administrative control of the Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Jammu.
The programme aimed to sensitise entrepreneurs and stakeholders about key interventions under RAMP, in line with the approved Strategic Investment Plan (SIP) and operational guidelines. Emphasis was laid on promoting flagship schemes such as the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, alongside other departmental initiatives for MSMEs and artisans.
The camp was conducted under the supervision of General Manager DIC Reasi Navdeep Wazir and was coordinated by Asif Mehmood and Param Chadgal.
The programme witnessed participation from local entrepreneurs and stakeholders who were briefed on the objectives, benefits and implementation framework of RAMP. Special focus was given to participants whose MSME units were established under PMEGP, JKREGP and Mission YUVA schemes, encouraging them to register on the UDYAM portal to avail benefits.
