Srinagar : Police in Awantipora on Thursday seized 3 tractors involved in illegal transportation of minerals in Police district Awantipora.
In a statement issued here on Thursday said that a police party led by Inspector Tajamul Islam from Police Station Tral seized three tractors for being involved in the illegal extraction and transportation of minerals. The tractors were identified by their registration numbers: JK13H-3198, JK13C-9305, and JK13A-9352. The individuals implicated in this illegal activity have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Bhat, Tariq Ahmad Mir, and Asif Ali Bhat, all residents of Nowdal Tral. Following the incident, a case was registered under FIR No. 09/2026 at Police Station Tral, and further investigations are underway.
