Srinagar : The Passport Office Srinagar is set to conduct a special drive on February 14 and 21, 2026, to facilitate passport applications.
During this initiative, the Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSK) in Anantnag and Baramulla will be operational to meet the increasing demand for passport services. This special drive is part of the Passport Seva Project by the Ministry of External Affairs, aimed at providing timely, efficient, and transparent passport services to citizens. B. S. Rawat, the Regional Passport Officer in Srinagar, emphasized that this initiative demonstrates the office’s commitment to improving service delivery and reducing applicant waiting times. The additional operational days are designed to accommodate the rising number of passport applications and enhance convenience for residents in Anantnag, Baramulla, and surrounding areas. Applicants interested in utilizing these services must book an appointment through the official website, www.passportindia.gov.in, selecting a suitable time slot for the specified dates. It is essential for applicants to arrive at the designated center at the scheduled time with their appointment confirmation and all necessary original documents. For more information, applicants can visit the official Passport Seva website or contact the Regional Passport Office in Srinagar.
