Srinagar : Police in Budgam on Thursday organized a knock-out football tournament at District Police Lines Budgam under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025–26. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from various teams across Sub-Division Budgam.
The event was inaugurated by Sajad Ahmad, DySP Headquarters Budgam, in the presence of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din and the SHO Budgam.
The initiative aimed to engage youth in healthy sporting activities, promote discipline and teamwork, and provide a platform for young players to showcase their talent.
The final match was played between Rehbar 11 Budgam and FYCO FC Ompora, with Rehbar 11 Budgam emerging victorious by 1–0. Both teams were felicitated with trophies and cash rewards.
