Kulgam: District Administration KulgamWednesday organised a one-day training programme for YUVA Doots and newly engaged Motivators at Mini-Secretariat, Kulgam, with the objective of strengthening the implementation of Mission YUVA at the grassroots level in the district.
The programme was presided over by the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Kulgam, Altaf Ahmad Khan and attended by officers, officials from Employment Department, SBDU and BHD’s.
Held in accordance with the approved strategy for “YUVA Doots Training for Accelerated Progress under Mission YUVA”, the programme aimed to ensure clarity of roles among field functionaries, promote uniform implementation across blocks and wards, enhance application mobilisation, strengthen credit follow-up mechanisms, improve post-sanction support, and reinforce market linkages through seller onboarding.
Addressing the YUVA Doots and Motivators, ADDC Kulgam highlighted the role of field functionaries in achieving the objectives of Mission YUVA and stressed the importance of systematic outreach, coordinated follow-up and focused implementation to ensure effective outcomes at the grassroots level.
The sessions were structured around four thematic areas viz. mobilisation of applications with special focus on SHG women and low-performing areas; credit follow-up on pending applications with banks; Beyond Sanctions Campaign focusing on post-sanction support, capacity building and output tracking, and seller onboarding in urban centres for market linkage through ONDC.
Resource persons including Career Counselling Officer and Employment Officer, DE&CC Kulgam deliberated on the strategies to strengthen outreach at the Panchayat level, ensure timely resolution of pending cases with banks, facilitate beneficiary training and systematic output tracking in high-sanction areas, and identify and onboard urban sellers to strengthen market linkages under the mission.
The programme concluded with an interactive session during which field-level issues were discussed and necessary guidance was provided to ensure effective and timely discharge of responsibilities.
