Police Attaches Property Worth ₹50 Lakh in NDPS Case in Budgam

February 08: Police in Budgam have attached an immovable property worth approximately ₹50 lakh in Humhama area of Budgam district in connection with an NDPS case.

                   The attached property, a double-storey residential house, belongs to an alleged drug peddler Irfan Ahmad Dar son of Mohammad Ashraf Dar resident of Humhama. The attachment was carried out under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act in FIR No. 44/2020, registered under Sections 8 and 21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Budgam.

                   This action forms part of the ongoing crackdown by Police to curb drug trafficking by targeting the financial assets of those involved in the narcotics trade. Police urge the public to cooperate and share information related to drug peddling to help build a drug-free society.
