RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 07: The District Administration Rajouri today   organised a One-Day Mega Awareness Event at Government Higher Secondary School, Khawas under Sampoorna Abhiyan 2.0.

The event was organised on the directions of Deputy Commissioner, Abhishek Sharma and under the close supervision of District Statistics & Evaluation Officer (DSEO), Sandeep Kumar Sharma, as part of the UT-wide campaign to ensure saturation of all eligible beneficiaries under the six NITI Aayog Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Aspirational Blocks.

The programme witnessed overwhelming participation of expecting mothers, lactating mothers, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and supervisors, frontline workers of various departments and beneficiaries of government welfare schemes.

The programme was graced by Member District Development Council (DDC), Koteranka, Shazia Kousar, who is also the Brand Ambassador of Sampoorna Abhiyan 2.0, as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the gathering, the DDC Member emphasised the importance of Sampoorna Abhiyan in ensuring last-mile delivery of essential services and urged the public to fully avail the benefits of the government welfare schemes.

ADC Kotranka, Dilmir Choudhary, in his address, highlighted the coordinated efforts of line departments in achieving saturation targets and called for continued field-level mobilisation to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out.

To ensure effective outreach and service delivery, dedicated departmental stalls were set up by the Health Department, ICDS, Agriculture Department, NRLM, Jammu & Kashmir Bank (JKB), Social Welfare Department, Rural Development Department (RDD), Horticulture Department and Handloom & Handicraft Department. These stalls provided on-the-spot guidance, awareness and facilitation of various government schemes and services for the benefit of the people.

All concerned departments ensured the presence of their officers and frontline workers and mobilised beneficiaries from their respective areas, contributing to the successful conduct of the programme.

Among others present included DDC Member Moughla Shamim Akhter, ACD Auqil Naveed, BDO Javed Choudhary, besides district and sectoral officers were present on the occasion.
