Pulwama : A Special Lok-Adalat for Criminal Compoundable cases was organized Saturday in District Court Complex and other sub-ordinate courts of District Pulwama under the Chairmanship of Malik Shabir Ahmad, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Pr.District& Sessions Judge), Pulwama and under the supervision of Mudasar Farooq, Secretary DLSA Pulwama.
By the concerted efforts of all presiding officers of all the courts, cooperation rendered by the learned advocates, a total number of 80 cases were taken up by 4 benches in the district out of which 62 cases were settled in the said Lok-Adalat.
An amount of Rs18800 was awarded as settlement amount.
