MLA Udhampur West advises youth to gain skills for a bright future,

ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy hosts Bridal Shoot-2026

Udhampur : Member of Legislative Assembly Udhampur West, Pawan Kumar Gupta called upon the youth to strive for gaining skills as per their aptitude to secure the future.
He was speaking at ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy’s Bridal Shoot 2026, held at Royal Carnival, Udhampur, with the main focus on showcasing the rich Dogri culture and traditional bridal aesthetics.
The MLA, who was the chief guest at the event, appreciated the creativity and dedication of the students. “The beauty and wellness sector has immense scope for employment and entrepreneurship” he said and emphasized that the promotion of vocational and skill-based courses is extremely important for empowering youth, particularly young women, to become self-reliant and financially independent.
During the bridal shoot, students of ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy, presented elegant bridal looks on models, beautifully blending tradition with modern makeup artistry and demonstrating high levels of creativity, confidence and professional skill.
The ZNS Director Shivangi Dogra highlighted the achievements of the academy and its trainees. She expressed heartfelt gratitude to the students and their parents for trusting the institute and for encouraging their daughters to pursue vocational education and become financially independent, terming it a significant step towards women empowerment.
She also extended sincere thanks to MLA Udhampur West, for gracing the occasion and motivating the students with his encouraging words.
The event was also graced by the presence of Nusrat Malik and Shabir Malik, Founders of ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy, who appreciated the students’ dedication and performance.
Irfan Choudhary, Director, ZNS NIST Shiksha Academy-Akhnoor, efficiently managed the stage and ensured the smooth conduct of the programme.
The programme was further enriched by a vibrant cultural performance presented by the Cultural Unit of the Department of Information and Public Relations Jammu.
The event concluded on a successful and inspiring note, reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural heritage while promoting skill-based vocational education.
