Jammu : A solemn observance of silence for two minutes was held at SDRF 2nd Battalion, Hqrs. Gandhi Nagar to pay homage to the brave martyrs who laid down their life for the freedom of the nation.
All Officers/Officials of the battalion participated in the observance, paying heartfelt tribute to the supreme sacrifice of the martyrs.
The observance reaffirmed the commitment of the SDRF personnel to uphold the values of national service, resilience and selfless duty, which continue to inspire the force in the discharge of its responsibilities towards disaster response and public service.
