Kupwara : District Administration Kupwara Thursday facilitated the evacuation of eight patients from the border area of Tangdar to Kupwara for urgent medical treatment.
The evacuation was carried out in view of the closure of Tangdar road in the area due to heavy snowfall, which had restricted the vehicular movement. Despite the challenging conditions, the administration ensured that the patients were safely transported to Kupwara, where they are now receiving necessary medical care.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara has directed the concerned health officials for proper treatment of the patients for their speedy recovery.
