Srinagar: Police in Srinagar have sought the assistance of the general public in identifying an unidentified male dead body recovered following a road accident.
According to police, information was received through reliable sources about a road accident that occurred during the intervening night of January 25 and 26, 2026, at Tangan Crossing near Sitara Marbal. Acting promptly on the information, a police team from Police Station Nowgam rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
Subsequently, a case under FIR No. 14/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Nowgam, and further investigation has been taken up.
