Udhampur : Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai Monday reviewed the progress of the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants (FSTP), digitization of revenue records and the construction of government revenue buildings in the district. The review meeting was held in the Mini Conference Hall, DC Office Complex, Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr. Umesh Shan and other concerned officers.
The Deputy Commissioner conducted a tehsil-wise review of the digitization of revenue records. She assessed the status of data entry, digitization and verification of Jamabandies, the 7th Irrigation Census and up-dation processes. Emphasizing timely completion, she stressed on accurate and comprehensive digitization.
While reviewing the progress of the Faecal Sludge Treatment Plants, the DC directed the concerned officers to complete land identification for the project in coordination with the respective Tehsildars.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the progress of work on the government revenue buildings and assets in the district. She instructed officers to expedite work execution to ensure projects are completed within stipulated timelines.
Stressing the importance of inter-departmental coordination, the DC directed officers to maintain close coordination among field functionaries to fast-track implementation while ensuring accuracy. Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs) were instructed to expedite progress and conduct regular review meetings within their respective jurisdictions.
