Srinagar : Police on Friday said that it has cracked a burglary case reported at Police Post Bazaar, Kupwara and also arrested three accused persons involved in the crimein Kupwara.
In a statement issued here on Friday police said that a report of theft was received On January 10th, at Hajaj Market and subsequently FIR was registered at the local police station. Multiple police teams were formed under the leadership of DySP Headquarters Mubashir Niaz to investigate the incident. The collection and analysis of CCTV footage from various locations provided crucial leads. A suspect named Akhter Ahmad Mir was arrested. His disclosure led to the apprehension of two additional associates, Showket Ahmad Mir and another individual whose name is withheld for investigative purposes. The authorities recovered stolen items from the suspects’ residences, including cash, cash garlands, dry fruits, and clothing items such as jeans and jackets. Additionally, the motorcycle used in the burglary was seized. Police are continuing their investigation to determine if the arrested individuals are linked to other similar crimes.
