Kupwara : On the eve of 10th Veterans Day Celebration 2026, Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kupwara in collaboration with Govt Medical College Handwara organised an ESM Rally cum Grand Mega Medical Camp Saturday which drew the participation of over 200 Ex-servicemen and their dependents.
Several Multi Specialty doctors were present who provided consultation to ESMs, dependents and Veer Naris.
The medical camp was organised as part of the efforts to ensure the welfare, healthcare and dignity of Ex-servicemen who have served the nation selflessly.
On the occasion, Col SS Raja (Retd), Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, distributed certificates among ESMs who had taken Civil Defence Training along with SDRF to support civil administration during any emergencies.
