Rajouri : On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Rajouri, Mohd Jahangir Khan Saturday visited the New Bus Stand, Rajouri, from where the Guru Ravi Dass Ji Maharaj Shobha Yatra is scheduled to commence on January 15.
During the visit, the ACR reviewed the arrangements at the starting point of the Shobha Yatra and interacted with devotees as well as members of the organizing committee. He took stock of the preparations being made to ensure the smooth, peaceful and well-coordinated conduct of the religious procession.
As per the finalized route, the Shobha Yatra will commence from the New Bus Stand, Rajouri, proceed towards Jawahar Nagar, then move to Gujjar Mandi, from where it will pass through Tariq Bridge before culminating back at the New Bus Stand.
Assuring full administrative support, ACR stated that all requisite arrangements, including traffic regulation, security deployment, sanitation and other civic amenities, will be put in place well in advance to facilitate the successful and orderly conduct of the Yatra.
He also appealed to devotees and participants to cooperate with the district administration and strictly adhere to the prescribed route and guidelines to maintain peace, discipline and communal harmony during the event.
