Jammu: Police on Tuesday claimed to have busted a fake job racket in central kashmir’s Ganderbal district by arresting three people who allegedly duped people on the pretext of providing jobs.
An official said that police station Safapora received a complaint from two girls(name withheld) that two persons, Reyaz Ahmad Bhat of Shopian and Aamir Ahmad of Safapora Ganderbal, have duped them by providing fake certificates and had also promised them government jobs.
“The police registered an FIR 42/2017 U/S 420, 468, 471 and subsequently started investigations into the case,” he said.
During the course of investigation, both Bhat and Ahmad were arrested. “A third person involved in the racket, identified as Aashiq Ahmad Jugoo of Srinagar was also apprehended,” said the official.
He said the investigation was on to arrest more people involved in the case.
