Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan Tuesday chaired 24th High-Level Committee (HLC) meeting to review the status of ongoing road widening process of various key roads links in the city.
The meeting took a comprehensive review of progress on road widening of Imambara-Zadibal road, Masjid Hanfiya Zaldagar road, Shali Kadal road and Qamarwai Chowk to Parimpora bypass road.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner also interacted with affected people whose structures have come under the road widening works.
The Commissioner assured them that adequate compensation will be paid to the landowners whose land comes under demarcation, besides rehabilitating affected shopkeepers.
