Srinagar: Islamic Relief and Research Trust on Saturday released its Yearly Wall Calendar in collaboration with the Batamaloo Trade Association, in the gracious presence of Advocate A R hanjura, Peer Imtiyaz and Retired KAS officer Ajaz Ahmad Kakroo.
Speaking on the occasion, the speakers highlighted the selfless services and vital role played by Islamic Relief and Research Trust in supporting orphans, widows, and needy families, and in promoting education, social welfare, and community harmony across Kashmir. They appreciated the Trust’s consistent efforts over the years and termed its work a beacon of hope for the underprivileged sections of society.
The speakers further emphasized the importance of such organizations in strengthening social responsibility, youth engagement, and humanitarian values, especially in challenging times.
On the occasion, two young achievers were felicitated for securing recognition in video making for peace at the South Asia level. The speakers lauded the youth for using creativity as a tool to promote peace, dialogue, and harmony, and encouraged more young people to contribute positively to society. The event concluded with a message of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility towards building a peaceful and inclusive society.
