DC Poonch reviews functioning of Revenue Deptt

Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma Monday reviewed the functioning of the revenue department, focusing on land management, digital governance and public Services delivery.
The DC emphasized the timely recreation of Mussavies, stressing on formation of updated and accurate land records.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the status of revenue services under the Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA), urging strict compliance to timelines and accountability for any delays. Grievances redressal through the JK Samadhan portal was also discussed with instructions for timely and effective disposal of public complaints.
The Deputy Commissioner further directed to expedite the process of freezing Jamabandis as per guidelines to ensure the integrity of land records.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars.
