Mission Vatsalya Bandipora organises awareness Prog on “Child Marriage Free Bharat”

Bandipora : Under the aegis of Mission Vatsalya, District Bandipora Saturday organized an awareness programme on the theme “Child Marriage Free Bharat” at SSM School of Education, Sonarwani, Bandipora.
The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students and staff about the harmful consequences of child marriage and the importance of safeguarding child rights.
Officials from District Child Protection Unit , Child Helpline , and Child Helpdesk participated in the programme and sensitized the audience about the legal provisions related to the prevention of child marriage, child protection mechanisms, and the role of society in ensuring a safe and secure environment for children.
The officials emphasized the importance of timely reporting of child rights violations and highlighted the services and support systems available under Mission Vatsalya for the welfare and protection of children.
The awareness programme witnessed active participation from students and faculty members and was highly appreciated by the participants for its informative and meaningful engagement aimed at building a child-friendly and child-marriage-free society.
