Samba : District Development Commissioner, Samba, Ayushi SudanSaturday chaired a meeting in her office chamber to review the progress of various projects under the Archives & Archaeology Department and the Youth Engagement & Empowerment Plan in District Samba.
During the meeting, the Chair expressed displeasure over the delay in the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), despite the lapse of considerable time. Directions were issued to the executing agencies to expedite the preparation of DPRs along with detailed abstracts, so that the proposals can be taken up with the Archives & Archaeology Department for approval at the earliest.
The DDC also reviewed the status of the Youth Engagement and Empowerment Plan for the years 2025–26 and 2026–27 in respect of District Samba. Directions were issued to the District Heads of Youth Services & Sports, School Education, Health, Industries, JKEDI, Police and NRLM to finalize the charter of activities along with a detailed schedule pertaining to their respective departments for youth engagement and empowerment.
All concerned departments were directed to submit the finalized plans to this office within one week positively.
