Samba, J&K | Dec 25: A tragic incident was reported late Tuesday night at a military camp in Samba district, where a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) lost his life due to a gunshot wound while on duty.
The deceased has been identified as JCO Surjeet Singh, a resident of Reasi district and son of Late Ram Dayal Singh. According to official sources, the incident occurred under circumstances that are currently being investigated by the concerned authorities.
The Army has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and stated that all necessary procedures are being followed. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
