J&K Clinches Second Position at First Khaliyo-Do National Championship

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir showcased an impressive performance at the inaugural Khaliyo-Do National Championship, held from 12th to 14th December at the CWE Academy in Jalandhar, Punjab. The team secured the second position overall, winning a total of 20 medals, including 17 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze.

The championship, conducted under the supervision of the renowned wrestler Khali, saw athletes from various areas competing fiercely. Jammu and Kashmir’s outstanding performance was highlighted by the Best Player award, which was claimed by Hadiya Bashir for her exceptional skills and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.
