BJP reviews Atmanirbhar Bharat, Sardar @150 campaigns, stresses organizational, political strengthening

Jammu, 07 Dec :The Bharatiya Janata Party, Jammu & Kashmir, held a significant review meeting of State Office Bearers, District and Morcha Prabharis and Seh-Prabharis at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

Meeting was chiefly addressed by J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul, who conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing and forthcoming party programmes across Jammu & Kashmir.

Leader of Opposition (LoP) Sunil Sharma also addressed the meeting alongwith, J&K BJP Vice-President & DDC Chairperson Jammu Bharat Bhushan, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, Baldev Singh Billawaria, Gopal Mahajan and Anwar Khan.

While addressing the senior leaders, Ashok Koul outlined the road map for strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level. He emphasized meticulous implementation of flagship programmes including Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Sardar Patel @150 events, and the upcoming Assembly-wise Sammelans being organized across J&K. He stressed that the ongoing Atma Nirbhar Bharat activities would culminate on Sushasan Diwas on 25 December, to be observed at every booth. He further informed that a Swadeshi Mela will be held separately in Jammu and Srinagar, promoting local enterprise and cultural vibrancy.

Koul also urged all leaders to ensure maximum public participation in Mann Ki Baat, reiterating its importance as a direct connect between the Prime Minister and citizens. He called for stronger coordination between District units and Morchas to achieve deeper outreach.

Sunil Sharma, in his address, said that while the BJP is working with commitment to ensure peace, development and empowerment in J&K, the NC-led government continues to pursue regressive tactics that hinder progress and attempt to divert public attention from its failures. He urged the cadre to counter such negativity through organization-driven outreach and by highlighting the transformative initiatives of the BJP.

Presiding over the meeting, Bharat Bhushan, said that the party’s organizational strength must translate into dedicated public service and welfare-oriented action, which remains the central theme of today’s deliberations.

Sanjita Dogra detailed the ongoing Atmanirbhar Bharat activities and women-oriented empowerment drives by the party cadre in the ongoing campaign.

Baldev Singh Billawaria briefed the party leadership on the Sardar Patel @150 outreach efforts with the involvement of civil society.

Gopal Mahajan emphasized measures for robust organizational coordination across districts.

Anwar Khan highlighted upcoming district-level initiatives and delivered the vote of thanks.
