New Delhi, December 3 : AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi said today that Hon’ble MP Baramulla Er Rashid raised the issue of non-existent connectivity in the border areas of North Kashmir during his Parliament speech.

Er Rashid told the House that in Karnah, Machil, Gurez and Uri “forget 5G or 4G even basic mobile towers are missing and there is no network connectivity at all.” He highlighted the distressing situation in Gujjarpati village, saying he saw on TV from jail that residents have been pleading with the LG and CM for five days just to get phone access.

Er Rashid urged the Minister to act immediately: “Why should border areas in Kupwara and Baramulla suffer?”

Er Rashid also pointed out that although the Ministry claims to have written to all MPs, “I am an MP from Tihar Jail, yet I have not received any such letter. Let us also convey our pain.”

Inam Un Nabi said the intervention reflects Er Rashid’s unwavering commitment to speak for the most neglected communities of North Kashmir.
