Kupwara, Dec 03: District Police Kupwara today organized a marathon under the Civic Action Programme, covering the route from Khumriyal to District Police Lines (DPL) Kupwara. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local youth, highlighting the growing interest in sports and community-oriented initiatives in the district.
The marathon was flagged off by SSP Kupwara, Shri Al Tahir Gillani, who motivated the participants to embrace sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle. He emphasized the importance of youth engagement in positive activities and appreciated their energetic response.
At the culmination of the event, SSP Gillani felicitated the winners with trophies and presented mementos to all participants, encouraging them to continue taking part in such initiatives.
