Srinagar : The Jammu & Kashmir Food and Supplies Employees Association ( J&K FSEA) here on Friday lauded Government for recent decisions on promotions in Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA) Department while simultaneously calling for urgent attention to several long-pending service matters affecting employee morale and departmental efficiency.
The Association, led by its President Ajaz Ahmad Khan in its statement lauded Saurabh Bhagat, Commissioner/Secretary, Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department J&K, and Dr. Owais Ahmad Director FCS&CA Kashmir, for the latest Government Order regarding the assignment of look-after charges for Assistant Directors in various districts. “The Association welcomes this timely and much-needed administrative initiative, which will significantly improve field-level supervision and enhance departmental efficiency across Jammu & Kashmir,” the statement reads. President Ajaz Khan and the Association’s leadership extended warm congratulations to the following officers entrusted with the responsibility of In-charge Assistant Directors in their respective districts The Association wished them success, hoping they would continue to uphold the highest standards of public service. While applauding the administrative steps, the Food and Supplies Employees Association expressed deep concern over other crucial service-related issues which continue to remain unresolved, directly impacting employee morale and operational effectiveness. The Association urged Commissioner/Secretary and Director, FCS&CA to address the five priority matters at the earliest. The five priority matters flagged by the association for immediate resolution include Publication of updated seniority lists, Filling vacant TSO posts through OPG, Removal of salary disparities, Immediate conduct of DPCs, Reactivation and Strengthening of the Enforcement Wing.
