Srinagar : A state-of-the-art Sheesh Khana was inaugurated by Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, at Dargah Hazratbal in Srinagar. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including board members and local religious leaders.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Andrabi paid homage at the shrine and participated in a prayer session, emphasizing her commitment to the ongoing development of the Waqf Board. In her address to the gathering, Dr. Andrabi highlighted the Board’s dedication to development and transformation, asserting that their work is characterized by action rather than empty promises. She noted that the Waqf Board operates without political influence, which has allowed them to effectively serve the community. Dr. Andrabi expressed gratitude for the trust placed in them by the Prime Minister and emphasized the importance of their constitutional mandate. She concluded by stating that the visible changes across Jammu & Kashmir reflect their commitment to service, with public appreciation being their greatest reward.
