Awantipora : The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) commemorated Constitution Day with enthusiastic involvement from faculty, staff, and students, under the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman” (Our Constitution – Our Pride).
The event was led by Dr. Asifa Mehraj Baba, Dean of Students, and coordinated by Dr. Syed Jaleel, Head of the Department of International Relations, alongside NSS Coordinator Dr. Tariq Ahmad Ganaie. During the gathering, Dr. Showkat Hussain, Head of the Department of Islamic Studies, underscored the importance of the Constitution, noting that rights come with corresponding responsibilities. A mass reading of the Preamble was conducted on this occassion.
