*Sopore Police Celebrate Constitution Day Across Police District*
Baramulla, Nov 26 : Sopore Police today observed Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) across all its establishments in Police District Sopore to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to honour its values, principles and vision.
As part of the nationwide celebrations, Preamble Reading Ceremonies were organised at all Police Stations, Police Posts, offices and units across the district.
Officers and officials participated in the collective reading of the Preamble, reaffirming their commitment to fundamental duties, democratic ideals and constitutional responsibilities.
In addition to the Preamble reading, various establishments conducted awareness interactions, brief talks on constitutional values and activities aimed at strengthening citizen-centric policing and respect for the rule of law.
Sopore Police reiterated that Constitution Day serves not only as a tribute to the founding visionaries of the nation but also as a reminder of the duty of every citizen—including members of the police force—to uphold justice, liberty, equality and fraternity in daily service to the people.
