Srinagar : Under the aegis of the Civic Action Programme (CAP), Police in Shopian on Thursday organised a Cricket Tournament for Tribal Youth at ChotiporaHeerpora. The tournament, which commenced on 15th November 2025, concluded Thursday with a colorful closing ceremony.
The tournament was inaugurated by SSP Shopian, Mushtaq Ahmad Choudhary. The final match was played between Mughal Warrior Heerpora and Devpora Stars with Mughal Warrior Heerpora emerging victorious by 15 runs. During the final match ceremony, SSP Shopian distributed cash prizes and trophies among the winners and runners-up.
The event was attended by Addl. SP Shopian, DySPHqrs Shopian, DySP DAR Shopian, SHO PS Heerpora along with a large number of spectators and sports enthusiasts from the district and nearby areas.
