Rajouri : Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO) Rajesh Verma Tuesday gave away certificates to a women batch on completion of the Beauty Parlour Management course here at J&K Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institutes (JKBRSETI) Rajouri. He interacted with the pass-out candidates, applauding their dedication and motivating them to pursue further opportunities for growth and self-reliance.
Verma also engaged with the trainees of the ongoing Women Tailoring batch. He encouraged them to harness their skills for income generation and entrepreneurial ventures. The CAO further briefed the participants on various schemes of the Agriculture Department that offer scope for self-employment and rural empowerment.
The visit highlighted the importance of skill development in transforming the socio-economic landscape of rural communities. JKBRSETI, operating under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, continues to play a pivotal role in imparting practical, industry-aligned training aimed at empowering rural youth—especially women—towards sustainable livelihoods.
The Beauty Parlour Management course is one of the many vocational programmes designed by JKBRSETI to promote employability. Its curriculum includes beauty therapy, makeup artistry, hair styling and salon management, equipping participants with the skills necessary to secure jobs or start their own enterprises.
Director JKBRSETI, Suniel Sharma, extended gratitude to the Chief Agriculture Officer for his visit and motivational interaction with the trainees. He reiterated JKBRSETI’s commitment to broadening its training outreach and supporting more unemployed youth in building viable, skill-based careers.
