Thimphu (Bhutan)| Nov,11: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that terrorist responsible for deadly car blast in Delhi would be brought to justice, assuring that the government is taking the attack “very seriously.”
Speaking from Bhutan, Prime Minister Modi expressed deep sorrow over explosion that rocked Delhi Monday evening . He conveyed his condolences to the families of those killed in the attack and assured the nation of a thorough investigation into the incident, emphasizing that those responsible would face justice. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh echoed these sentiments, stating that leading investigative agencies are conducting a swift inquiry and that the findings will be made public soon. He also extended his condolences to the victims’ families and reaffirmed the commitment to hold the perpetrators accountable.
As already reported the explosion occurred in a Hyundai i20 car near the Red Fort at around 7 pm, causing significant damage to nearby vehicles and prompting a nationwide alert. The Delhi Police have initiated a case under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention)-UAPA Act and other relevant laws, with multiple agencies involved in the investigation to uncover the cause and motive behind the blast. Union Home Minister Amit Shah confirmed that all possibilities are being explored in the investigation, ensuring a comprehensive approach to addressing the incident.
