Srinagar: Anand Jain, Additional Director General, Armed J&K on visited the IRP 19th Battalion Headquarters at Badala Chan Grah, Kathua. Accompanied by Vinod Kumar, , DIG IRP Jammu, and Rajinder Singh SSP APCR Jammu.
The ADGP received a ceremonial Guard of Honour upon arrival, followed by a comprehensive inspection of the IRP 19th Battalion campus, which included various facilities such as the Battalion Kote, Mess, MT Fleet, Equipment Store, and Main Office. During the visit, the ADGP led a plantation drive at the Battalion Headquarters, planting saplings of Guava and Amla trees. Additionally, the ADGP inaugurated a state-of-the-art CCTV Control Room and a Sports/Gymnasium Hall. He engaged with officers and jawans, presiding over a Darbar where personnel could voice their grievances, which were addressed with on-the-spot directives for resolution. In his address, the ADGP underscored the importance of discipline and professional conduct, advising personnel to avoid drug use and remain vigilant against cyber-related frauds targeting security forces.
